The conference organisers Rogge Marine Consulting GmbH and Bremen University of Applied Sciences, Faculty V – Centre of Maritime Studies invite you to the 1st International Ship-Port-Interface Conference, focusing on the human element. ISPIC 2008 is organised in Bremen in May 2008 and incorporates the 34th Annual General Assembly of the International Federation of Shipmasters’ Associations (IFSMA).


The conference will offer a good opportunity and a useful forum for discussion and interchange of information between designers, builders, owners and operators of ships and ports, pilots, sailing mariners, maritime administrators, lawyers and consultants, maritime educators, staff from classification societies, maritime supervisory authorities, the scientific and academic communities, and all others with a common interest in the human element at the ship/port interface.
